A Jeffersonville man was killed in a car accident Monday afternoon on Highway 80. Earl Waller Sr. was taken to the hospital after the wreck and was pronounced dead, according to the Twiggs County coroner's office. Waller hit a tree after running into a ditch and the vehicle burst into flames, officials said. Some witnesses were able to pull Waller and his passenger from the car.
