A flood watch has been posted for all of Middle Georgia. The watch goes into effect on Friday afternoon, and remains in effect through Saturday evening. Periods of heavy rain will continue through Saturday. Rain amounts around 2" can be expected across north Georgia (and for metro Atlanta) with totals closer to 4" across Middle Georgia.
